Janus vs AFSCME – Update
Petition for a “writ of certiorari” by Mark Janus vs AFSCME,
has been; GRANTED by the Supreme Court effective September 28, 2017
Mark Janus seeks to put an end of union dues being required to be paid to their union by any governmental employee.
Should he prevail, this would be devastating to any and all unions who represent government workers at any level – Local, State or Federal – to include our own UAW.
