Notice that there are three (3) separate charges, and NOT one (1) charge with three (3) elements under that single charge. That is so that each of the three charges stands alone on its own merit, in case that Gary Jones is exonerated on one or even two of the charges the other charge still stands for possible conviction. Unlike if the charges were bundled under one charge with three elements; then if Gary Jones is exonerated on even one of the elements of the single charge that would negate the entire single charge. Thus, these charges were done properly regarding the 3 separate charges.

However, there appears to be two procedural problems with another aspect of the charges. Interestingly, we have to leave that to Jones and his chosen counsel to figure out on their own. Of course, this is simply editorial opinion as observed in this single charging document that is absent of any and all supporting documents.
